Overcoming the Odds
Ginny, a beloved long-time volunteer, and Peter, a volunteer and former FACETS Board Member, took a special interest in Ali’s academic career. Peter helped tutor Ali starting his freshman year of high school. Despite the challenges of caring for his younger siblings, he ended the year with a nearly 4.0 GPA.
